30-day Trial and Registered versions are the same
SplashPhoto will run for 30-days in full-functioning Trial mode. The Trial software and Registered software are identical. Once the trial period ends you must purchase a registration code to continue using the software. You do not need to re-install the software. Simply enter the registration code and your Trial version will be converted into a Registered version. 

Installation Instructions - Important!

1. Click the Download button.
2. When prompted with the "File Download" dialog box, select "Save this program to disk" and save it in a place you are sure to remember, like your Desktop.
3. After the file has finished downloading, double click to run the installer.
4. Follow the prompts until installation is complete. This will conclude the desktop installation, but please read below for info on completing the handheld installation.

To complete installation, connect your BlackBerry to your desktop as you normally do to sync.

1. Launch the BlackBerry Desktop and double-click the Application Loader.
2. Click the Add button and browse to select these files:
• c:\Program Files\SplashData\SplashID for BlackBerry\SplashID.alx
• c:\Program Files\SplashData\SplashPhoto for BlackBerry\SplashPhoto.alx
• c:\Program Files\SplashData\SplashShopper for BlackBerry\SplashShopper.alx
3. Scroll down through the list of programs and check the box for SplashID, SplashPhoto and SplashShopper to be installed.
4. Click Next and the applications will be installed on the device.
5. On your handheld, find the SplashID application and launch. It may be found in the Applications folder.

To enable synchronization, double-click the Intellisync or Synchronize icon in the BlackBerry Desktop:

1. In the top section of the Intellisync window, check the box that reads "Execute Add-in actions."
2. In the bottom section, click the button that reads "Configure Add-ins."
3. Check the boxes for both "SplashID Intellisync Add-ins" and "SplashPhoto Intellisync Add-ins," then click OK. Note: On Windows Vista the checkboxes may not appear, just click once where they shoudl be to the left. Also note that SplashShopper synchronizes from within the SplashShopper desktop using the Sync button, so it does not sync automatically with the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
4. Click the Synchronize now button to perform a first sync.

Update Instructions

1. To install a newer version, it is best to just run the installer as a reinstall.
2. Then connect the device and open the Application Loader.
3. SplashID should show up as updated.
4. Click Next.

Crossgrading

If you purchased a license for SplashWallet on a different platform (eg. Palm OS), you are eligible to "crossgrade" to SplashWallet for BlackBerry for only $9.95: SplashWallet Crossgrade

To import your SplashID data from the Palm OS version, follow these instructions.
